About Me

People from all walks of life come for counselling, and I hope the following information helps you decide whether to make contact with me.

I have been counselling since 2011, and have a background in providing emotional and mental health support for adults of all ages. I offer creative person-centred counselling for people experiencing bereavement, loss, stress, depression, anxiety, the effects of domestic abuse, body image issues, parenting or relationship issues.

I can see you online through Skype, or at my practice based in the heart of Eastleigh. An introductory session offers an opportunity to establish if we could work well together, and I will do my utmost to put you at ease.

If you come for counselling with me, I will work to ensure I am someone you feel safe with and can wholeheartedly trust. I believe in valuing people just as they are, so I will not judge or criticise you, nor define you by any diagnosis you may have. I will listen attentively to how things are for you - what you're feeling, thinking and experiencing, and we will work at your pace.

I have received training in art therapy, and offer the option of using art and other mediums alongside counselling. This way of working can be helpful if you struggle to put your thoughts and feelings into words or would prefer to express yourself in this way.

Counselling is about choice, change, growth and development, and my role is to help you make sense of your difficulties, find a way through them and continue to be the best that you can be.

If you would like to book an introductory session or ask questions about the counselling I can offer you, please call 07729 193629, email me through this profile or my website.

I have been a counsellor since 2011, and have a background in the public and voluntary sector, including Bereavement Services, Women's Aid, Solent Mind, NHS Adult Mental Health and Cruse Bereavement Care.

I am here for you if you're a family, couple or individual facing a loved one's serious illness, including cancer or dementia, or struggling to cope with the loss of an adult or child. I have received specialist training in miscarriage and baby loss, yet I can help if you've suffered the loss of a child or grandchild of any age.

I can help if you're a survivor of domestic abuse, including being exposed to abuse and violence in your childhood or teenage years - I work with both men and women survivors. You can also get in touch if you're worried about a person under the age of 18 - perhaps you suspect or know that they're in an abusive relationship and would like support with this.

I am a parenting counsellor, including for challenges associated with pregnancy and early parenthood, understanding and interacting with your child or teen, and parenting a child (aged 3-12 years) suspected of or recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

With a background in adult mental health, I am here for you if you're a family, couple or individual affected by mental health issues, including depression, perinatal or postnatal depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, low mood, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder or borderline personality disorder.
