Before becoming a counsellor l worked as a manager within the housing and homeless field supporting vulnerable clients for over 30 years.
I now provide talking therapy / counselling to asian women in an organic holistic approach. I use a person-centered approach as a starting point to look at past experiences and triggers in your life to get to the heart of what is stopping you now.
I will help you to re think some of the negative thoughts that you may have about yourself and help you to build your self-esteem. I can provide a shoulder to lean on and empower you to move forward with the life that you want to lead.
What I can offer you is a safe, welcoming and confidential place to explore those issues. My approach to counseling is non-judgmental and I will never tell you what to do. I will, however, provide understanding and empathy, acceptance and warmth. Together we can explore the things that are troubling you and help you to gain insights into your situation.
There are some things in life that are out of our control. Thankfully though there are many things that we can control and one of those is learning to understand and manage how we feel about our past experiences so that we control them and they don’t control us.
Our journey together will help you manage your emotions around these experiences in a new and exciting and more positive way.
