NCPS | NAPAC Training 2nd December in London

Supporting Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse (SASCA) NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) is a UK wide charity which offers support to adults who suffered any type of abuse in childhood.

Responding to demand from around the country, we are excited to be able to offer a new specialist training course, Supporting Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse (SASCA), to individual professionals working with people who suffered any type of abuse in childhood. Until now SASCA has only been available to organisations.

This one-day course is aimed at qualified counsellors and therapists and other professionals who may be working directly with adult survivors, or those studying a relevant subject, to deepen their knowledge about the impact of abuse in adulthood and to feel more confident in managing disclosures from clients.

NAPAC has trained NHS staff, including GPs, mental health professionals, safeguarding leads as well as social workers, police officers, prison and probation officers. We have received excellent feedback from these groups.
