Action for Family Carers, formerly known as Maldon Carers Centre, was founded in 1989 and is a registered charity providing support and information to unpaid Carers. It is a network member of the Carers Trust, but maintains its own fully independent charitable status. The activities of the Centre are funded mainly by Essex County Council and the local NHS
Ballynafeigh Community Development Association
Ballynafeigh Community Development Association (BCDA) is a mature community development organisation based in South Belfast. It was established in 1974, and in the 40 years since then the Association’s work has focused on our role as a multi-purpose organisation, operating a resource centre and acting as a catalyst for the creation and delivery of social actions to tackle disadvantage and address those issues which impact on development and quality of life matters for vulnerable individuals and groups.

Bereavement Counselling Service
The Bereavement Counselling Service (BCS) is a charity which offers specialist bereavement counselling in response to complicated grief and traumatic loss. Our therapists have specialist knowledge, training and experience and work under regular professional supervision. The BCS is based in Plymouth (UK) and is partially funded by the Clinical Commissioning Group which covers Plymouth and some of Devon. With fund raising support it is possible for some clients to receive their counselling without charge.
Bristol Relationships is an exciting new training initiative being put together by Barbara Bloomfield, Dominique Sakoilsky, Rex Baird and Zoe Baird. Barbara, Dominique and Rex have over fifty years of experience, with tens of thousands of contact hours of working with couples and, more recently, families between them. They all worked extensively together at Bristol Relate and, from 2007, were a core part of the team that pioneered the Family Counselling service there. All continue to have busy private practices. Now, in 2018, they are looking to share, expand and develop this body of knowledge and experience by offering specialist training to those interested working directly with human relationships.

Free Bereavement Support Service. Butterflies Bereavement Support was created by a group of people who had experienced bereavement and loss and who have used their skills and experience to ensure that all people have full access to a specialist bereavement support network at the time of need for their family and friends. Since its inception, the service has grown and through the massive network of professionals we are able to offer a comprehensive range of services that support people not just after they have lost someone special but also before, so that the support is available and that they can plan ahead.

When you, or someone close to you, has cancer it’s normal to feel anxious, frightened and worried about the future. These feelings can be confusing and overwhelming and it can help to talk to someone who understands. Cancer Focus NI’s counselling service gives you time to talk one-to-one in a safe, non-judgmental environment about what is important to you.
Cruse Bereavement Care
Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and work to enhance society’s care of bereaved people. Cruse provides face-to-face, telephone, email and website support. We have a Freephone National Helpline and a website, www.hopeagain.org,uk specifically for children and young people. Our services are provided by trained volunteers and are confidential and free. Cruse provides training and consultancy for organisations and for those who may come into contact with bereaved people in the course of their work.
Domestic Violence UK
Domestic Violence UK is a not for profit organisation set up to provide information and support online to victims of domestic abuse, by developing a community where we can learn from the experiences of each other. It recognises domestic violence comes in many forms; not just the physical, but also emotional, psychological and sexual; and that it can be suffered by any member of society.
Dorothy House Hospice
Dorothy House Hospice provide compassionate care and support for people in our community with a life-limiting illness. Dorothy House focuses on quality of life, so patients can live well and die well. Dorothy House give care and support to patients and their families in Bath and north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of our outreach centres. Dorothy House respect the uniqueness of each patient and their family, and empower them to choose the type of care they receive.
EMDR Centre London
The Centre offers individual sessions in EMDR psychotherapy, supervision and high quality EMDR training courses. Our aim is to alleviate distress and suffering, to help people with traumatic experiences as well as – for therapists and coaches – to impart the application of EMDR in trauma therapy and coaching at a high level.
Guernsey Bereavement Service
The Guernsey Bereavement Service is a free, voluntary, confidential service available for everyone. Our volunteers are drawn from varied backgrounds. They undergo training to maintain the highest possible standards. All volunteers receive regular independent supervision and abide by the National Counselling Society's Code of Ethics.

A registered charity bringing purpose, meaning and direction to those with low-to-medium mental health concern needs via individual cycling plans, self-referred access to confidential counselling and practical help with career choices, including self-employment support. Localised projects in the New Forest area, West Sussex, Bristol and Leeds are in development, with nationwide expansion anticipated. Our focus is on supporting returners to work to sustain independent, fulfilling lives via our unique combined model. Beneficiaries are invited to enrol for free provision for up to twelve months. Knowle West Health Association
KWHA Counselling Service is a free service set up as a counselling placement in 2015 primarily for those living in South Bristol. We are now staffed by both qualified counsellors and supervisors as well as professionally assessed student counsellors on placement. We have adopted an ‘as long as it takes’ approach so clients are not limited to a set number of sessions. We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from local groups, organisations and GP’s. Knowle West Health Association offers a holistic approach to health of which the counselling service is now an intrinsic part.

NWCH was founded on 1st April 2017 by Alex Parkin and Naomi Watkins. As co-founders, we both felt that there were gaps in the local community within Lincolnshire for supporting people’s mental health and wellbeing. We decided to create the Counselling Hub with an aim to fill these gaps. Our vision is to provide a central hub to support children, families, young people and adults as well as couples within Lincolnshire.
Overgate Hospice offers a counselling service to patients, their relatives, friends and carers. It is a free and confidential service. "Our counsellors aim to provide support to those who are experiencing the emotions and difficulties associated with having a life-limiting illness, or caring for someone who has one, by providing a safe, quiet place to talk freely. Counselling can help to find ways of saying things that have been difficult to say to people who are close. It can help to make sense of feelings, and provide encouragement to untangle confusions and uncertainties. Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre
OSARCC was founded in 1979 as a collective of women, all volunteers, working to support women who had experienced rape and sexual abuse. Since 2009 OSARCC has been a charity, with a board of trustees, paid employees, and volunteers all working together to support survivors across Oxfordshire. OSARCC is an inclusive organisation who actively challenge discrimination in all its forms (including but not limited to discrimination based on race, religion, sexuality, disability, age, and class) and welcomes contact from women from all walks of life, including sex workers and trans women. At OSARCC we know that all survivors are different, and therefore aim to provide a range of support services to suit each individual, including telephone and email support, face to face support groups, counselling and advocacy services. We also recognise that supporting a survivor can feel isolating and our helpline and email support are also open to supporters of survivors of all genders, whether they are professionals, parents, partners, or friends.

Talking Therapies CPD Ltd
Talking therapies CPD limited aim to offer quality CPD delivered by respected Professionals. We offer training locally that is normally only accessible by travelling to London or other Metropolitan cities. We intend to offer regular CPD days throughout the year from our venue here in Newark on Trent.
CDP events will be offered through out the year and can be booked via our website. Events will generally be one day with a 6 Hour personalised CPD certificate issued to each delegate at the end of the conference. We may on occasion offer longer training over two or tree days. At all events refreshments will be provided and full day events will include a free lunch. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if we are informed well in advance of the event date.
