I offer Telephone, On line Counselling and Walk and Talk Therapy. These are all carried out in a professional confidential supportive space for you to talk about what is troubling you, big or small. Some people find sitting directly opposite their therapist quite daunting when confronting something difficult and prefer walk and talk therapy sessions, finding it easier walking parallel to their therapist which in turn is beneficial to the counselling process allowing for progress to be made.
Walk and Talk therapy sessions are conducted mainly in the beautiful setting of either Clarence or Verulamium Park in St Albans.
I work with clients of all ages for long and short-term therapy.
If you are unfamiliar with counselling, it may feel quite daunting, I therefore encourage an initial free 15 minute consultation, so we can speak before any future decision is made. In this session you will have the opportunity to tell me what is distressing you and ask any questions that you may have. I will also explain more about how I work. If you would then like to arrange future sessions these would normally be on a weekly basis at an agreed time.
Clinical Supervision
I offer individual and group supervision.
I will do what I can to support you professionally and to ensure that you continually practise as a competent therapist. I will facilitate and encourage your personal development and confidence.
As an integrative supervisor I work in a range of modalities and will support you with your own theories. I will support you with whatever challenges arise and help you understand and explore your feelings and to separate them from your clients.
