I strongly believe in the importance of emotional health and well-being - particularly given its power to affect how we think about ourselves and what we feel capable of doing, achieving and coping with - in our personal lives and at work. I also believe we have the capacity to develop a better understanding of ourselves - our thoughts, emotions and behaviours and to discover our own solutions to what is troubling us. Counselling provides clients with a safe, non-judgmental, ethical and supportive space in which to talk about anything that is concerning them. This may include difficult life events or relationships, feelings, thoughts or behaviours they would like to change. As a counsellor my role is not to give clients advice but to listen and help them through self-exploration, learning and discovery to understand themselves better and make positive changes to their lives. As a practising psychotherapeutic counsellor, I have experience of working with clients presenting with anxiety; panic attacks; fears and phobias; stress; anger management and relationships' issues - both personal and in the workplace.
