I feel passionate about helping people like you to find answers as to why you feel this way and to start feeling good about yourself, less anxious or overwhelmed.

I work in a gentle and supportive way that will help you to begin to make sense of things that might feel wrong in your life right now. In these challenging times, I can be here for you with whatever you need to bring.

If you feel ready to move forwards, we can work together towards creating any changes that you would like to make in your life; for example you might decide you want to put some boundaries in for yourself or you may want to be able to say "NO" sometimes and not feel guilty about it. Working together you can discover who you really are and work towards positive change for your future.

What to expect from your first session:

It can take courage to call or email to book a first initial session and I try my very best to help you feel ok about meeting me for the first time. I work compassionately and without judgment so you can bring anything to counselling, all is welcome, you are welcome.

During our first session I will take a little time to let you know about confidentiality and how I can keep you and your information safe. After that you are welcome to tell me whatever you would like to; why you are looking for counselling, how you are feeling and what has happened to you. You can just go ahead and splurge it all out or, if that feels way too scary, I can gently ask you some questions to help you through the process. At the end you can either book in again or go away and have a think about whether you'd be happy to work together with me going forwards then let me know by email.

Often it has taken a long journey to get to where you are now in life, it is necessary to unravel it slowly, with someone you think you can build a trusting relationship with. I will encourage you to take time to be patient and compassionate with yourself, for some that can be a challenge in itself. However counselling works! Things will move forward, changes will happen and you can feel better.

Availability:

I offer daytime sessions from Tuesday to Friday with evening sessions available at 5.15pm 6.30pm and 7.45pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I also offer a free initial 30 minute session.

You don't have to work it all out alone, contact me today for a quick chat or a free initial session and we can talk about how I can help you.
