At times we can all find ourselves feeling overwhelmed by difficult events and troubling circumstances. This can leave us struggling to manage and attempting to hide how we really feel. You don't have to suffer alone or in silence, worried because of the judgement that could come your way if you tell your friends, family or co-workers about what's making you unhappy. Counselling can help with many problems whether they are relational, emotional or caused by trauma. I provide a confidential listening ear, which often gives clarity to difficulties that are a source of pain and confusion. I believe that with support, you will be able to work through tough issues and start to feel stronger and more at peace with yourself and the world. I don't diagnose you or tell you what to do, rather give you the time and space to work things through.

I'm an Integrative Graduate Counsellor offering long and short-term therapy. I employ techniques from several approaches including: Person centred, CBT, Psychodynamic, Existentialism, Gestalt and TA. This means I can tailor my approach to suit you. In the past I've been a Mentor for care leavers and worked for Mind. I've also been a Counsellor for a domestic violence charity and for a general practice organization.

If you feel you would benefit from receiving some support in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, please get in touch for a no obligation initial consultation. I'm based at The Brighton Therapy Practice in Central Brighton and Lansdowne Place Therapy Rooms, in Hove BN3. I also offer online and telephone sessions. Appointments are available from 11am-7pm, Monday to Friday.
