Mates in Mind

I am a strong believer in personal growth and self-development and believe that everyone deserves to be happy. I am passionate about counselling and love supporting people through their journeys.
I am a qualified professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over ten years of experience in dealing with mental health conditions. I have worked with a diverse range of people in different organisations.
I provide long and short-term counselling sessions at my office in Parkstone, Poole and work using a Humanistic model drawing on skills from a Person Centred Approach, CBT Skills, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt.
I offer a free 30 minute, no obligation session where you can come and meet me, ask me questions or use it as a short counselling session to get a opportunity to discover if you feel comfortable working with me and are able to build a therapeutic relationship with me which is important for counselling to take place. If after the 30 minutes, you are happy and would like to continue the counselling sessions, I will book you in for an assessment session where we will set out a therapeutic contract.
