I am a Clinical Lead and highly trained experienced workplace counsellor and Supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in EAP and NHS settings.
I qualified in 2007 on gaining my HND in counselling and skilled in working with mental health conditions like stress, anxiety and depression. I can support those struggling with low self esteem, confidence, anger and work related stress.I also work with bullying and harassment programmes and delivering trauma support offering short-term solution focussed support as well as Mindfulness, Management Coaching and Clinical Supervision.
I can offer an integrative, short-term, solution-focussed approach which utilises many differing theories of counselling including CBT tools and techniques, underpinned by Person-centred theory. I can also work longer term to support your needs if clinically necessary to help you overcome the current challenges in your life.

CBT helps us to understand the origins of our problems with the main focus on learning ways to more effectively manage our thoughts, feelings and behaviours in the present. Sometimes our thinking can get stuck in unhelpful vicious cycles and through working together we can establish new skills and strategies to help you make positive and lasting change.
I will always work to provide a safe and warm environment through offering a confidential, professional, non-judgemental relationship, where you can expect to be listened to and understood to help foster new awareness and understanding and support the learning of new coping strategies.
I am an accredited member of the BACP as well as the NCS so accountable to their standards, code of practice, ethical guidelines and Professional Conduct Proceedure.
I'm committed to continually updating my counselling skills and knowledge through continuous professional development (CPD) and attend monthly professional supervision in accordance with BACP guidelines.
I am based in the Brislington area of Bristol which is quite close to the city centre and can offer appointments in the early evening between 17:00 - 21:00.
I can offer you the flexibility of Face to face support, telephone counselling as well as the use of Skype and Facetime to help meet your needs in accessing support.
Even if you are unsure if I am the right counsellor for you, please still contact me so we can talk through your concerns and allow me to answer any questions you might have. I might also be able to signpost you to more appropriate support to help specifically meet your particular needs.
If you would prefer to meet face to face I'm happy too complete a 30 minute initial assessment which will cost £30. If you then decide to continue into counselling we can contract for the work we will do together, set a counselling goal and agree appointment times.
I always evaluate my counselling support so you will be able to see any clinical change experienced through our work together. We will review our work together on a regular basis to make sure our relationship is working for you and we are on track to achieve your counselling goals. I always encourage client feedback so I can make any necessary improvements to my support to be able continue to offer the best service.

I am a qualified clinical Supervisor offering affordable supervision to qualified and student counsellors particularly those working in an organisational context. I can also offer facilitation of group Consultative Support.
