I believe talking therapies, such as counselling, provide a valuable place for you to explore, work through and come to terms with any problems you are facing in your life.
I am an honest, warm and caring person with the skills to support you, as you embark on a journey to start to understand your life and yourself, in a safe and confidential environment. The talking therapy I offer, is person centred, essentially putting you at the heart of our work, together with creative interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. We would work in an open, non-judgemental and reflective space, allowing you the chance to be heard and validated.
Our focus would be on your own agenda and what you choose to bring to your sessions. I would listen to your voice and guide you to explore what it is you are seeking and what has brought you to therapy. Ultimately, our aim would be to work together, to enable you to overcome any areas of your life you aren’t satisfied with.
My experience stems from working with a diverse range of clients, who have sought my help for a variety of reasons. It doesn’t matter how large or small you feel your problem is, if it is affecting your life, then talking therapy can help you. Everyone experiences difficult times in their lives, and I have had the great fortune to see people overcome the many barriers life can throw our way.
You have already broken down one of lives biggest barriers, by coming here to seek someone that can help you. Being able to look at ourselves in the mirror and say, ‘I need help’ or ‘I am struggling’, shows great strength and you have noticed that you want to improve your life. Whether you feel it yet or not, you have taken control and are looking at ways to better yourself and your situation. It would be a privilege to support you in your journey and I welcome hearing from you, when you are ready.
