Hello my name is Karla Rumens and I work predominately as a Person-Centred Counsellor Supervisor and Trainer here in Guernsey along with past and present experience of being part of a Tutor Team.

I first became interested in counselling 22 years ago in 2001 after undertaking a certificate in 'Communication and Counselling' Skills. This furthered my interest when I had the opportunity to undertake further training for a Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
I aim to provide you with a warm open and confidential space for you to explore any issues that may be troubling you in a safe & peaceful environment.
As well as working with adults I am also proud to be on The National Counselling Society's additional 'Specialised Sub Register' as a Children And Young Persons Therapist - CYPT which requires me to have demonstrated specific competencies to enable me to work within this area including working with young people and children who have been bereaved.
This is in addition to my work with adults.
I provide 1-1 and Group Supervision, I currently support trainee Counsellors along with also providing Supervision to Qualified Counsellors.
