Mates in Mind

Hi I have been a qualified social worker 16 years working with children and families who have experienced trauma, loss and bereavement. I have gained experience in working with women who have experienced domestic abuse. I am also a qualified in working with you if you have experienced bereavement and also if you are have relationship difficulties with friends, family members. I also can work with you if your are experience stress or anxiety.
I trained to become a counsellor because I felt that I could use my skills as a social worker to work with people who feel that they would benefit from talking to someone about what is happening to your life at the moment I think that I can be that person to give you that space for talk to .
I trained as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist. This means that I am trained in a variety of approaches and I can adapt my practice to what would benefit to you the client. I have knowledge in Person Centred Counselling, Cognitive behavioural counselling, Psychodynamic counselling and Hypnotherapy.
