In the 22 years I have been practising, I have learned that we are all individual & our problems cause us distress. For some, simply being heard, perhaps for the first time is enough, others seek change. As your counsellor, I will endeavour to help you understand how your problems arose and most importantly, how together, we can work towards finding a happier, clearer path. I work privately from my home in Pilley, near Lymington in the beautiful New Forest, Hampshire. My practice room provides a comfortable and non-clinical environment and there is ample off street parking and just a three minute walk from the 112 bus stop (Boldre War Memorial).
- Qualifications & ExperienceAs a service provider I have worked as a counsellor both within the NHS and privately. I trained as a group analytic psychotherapist and hold a Diploma in Group Analytic Psychotherapy but I am now predominantly a psychodynamic counsellor (understanding how events/circumstances in earlier years affect our present). I incorporate Mindfulness and Innate health (how our thinking affects all areas of our lives) within my practice.
