*I am a qualified counsellor and my aim is to help you gain a perspective about whatever has been troubling you.By using a collaborative and relational approach this can enable both of us to explore,identify and work through any issues that you present to counselling.The therapeutic process can help you to achieve a greater sense of understanding and acceptance of yourself,and where possible take action to bring about changes so that you can move towards becoming the kind of person you want to be.My role is to create a safe,confidential and non-judgemental environment for you the client,to help facilitate this process.My work incorporates a variety of therapeutic models, with Person Centred Counselling at its core.Along with this modality, further interventions that can be applied where appropriate include; Motivational Interviewing techniques and Cognitive Behavioural therapy.All of which combined can prove to be a powerful and effective model of therapy.
