I assess and treat people with mild to moderate mental health problems but can also provide support for people with long term conditions. Sessions will provide the opportunity for you and myself to look at what has brought you to therapy. This might include talking about life events (past and present), feelings, emotions, relationships, and ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour. I will do my best to help you look at your issues, and to help identify the right course of action for you, either to help you resolve your difficulties or help you find ways of coping. I am accredited by the National Counselling Society and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am also a qualified reflexologist and masseuse. Previously worked for the Belfast trust offering crisis counselling through the lifeline service for over 9 years. I run my own business, as well as taking on an associate counsellor role with Inspire well-being and I am a group facilitator on the minding mammies programme at Derry well woman. I have recently qualified in level 5 cognitive behavioural therapy and have started an NLP course this year.
