I am an Integrative Counsellor, a Life-Coach, and a Mentor. Essentially, this means that I combine elements and techniques from all the major schools of counselling - and from some other healing and coaching traditions, in order to approach - with you - your concerns-thoughts-feelings, in a way that's tailored to your own very specific needs in any given moment.

My approach is collaborative - even conversational - at times, and has proven to be helpful when working with stress, anxiety and depression, and with powerful emotions like panic, fear, worry, shame, anger, self-doubt, guilt, hate, confusion, consternation, disgust, shock, sadness etc.

Please see the list near the bottom of this page for a range of other topics I can help you with. I also believe my approach to counselling can be helpful if you're experiencing any of the following:

Emotional turmoil or distress, 'overwhelm', trauma, life-changes, isolation & loneliness, disappointment, disillusionment, perceived 'failure', injustice, rejection, intrusive or negative thoughts, self-defeating-habits, low-self-esteem and spiritual crises'.

If requested, I'll also work with you on self-awareness and development, performance-coaching, 'emotional intelligence', assertiveness and resilience, personal communications skills, basic mindfulness and relaxation techniques, personal and professional goals, life-skills, or spiritual awakenings.

My experience encompasses counselling and mentoring vulnerable children and adults, life-skills-coaching, mental health & employee advocacy, and community support. I counsel online, by phone, or face to face from my residential office, neutral venues and on home-visits (5+ mile-radius of NG5).I will also consult and work with Self-Help and other groups & agencies by invite. I offer Mentoring and Coaching as separate disciplines also; please contact me for details.

I hold a current Enhanced DBS for work with Adults and Children. I hold Professional Indemnity Insurance and receive regular Supervision and Continuing Professional Development. All of which may provide you with reassurance that I am safe and competent to practice.
