The young person benefits from plans which address trauma/attachment help to keep them safe and working towards personal goals/growth.

It can help reduce staff sickness and increase staff retention thus giving the young people supported a confident and consistent staff team. The young person benefits from staff delivering consistent support.
• Training
Outcome: Staff receive regular training in trauma informed care practises, NVR (non-violence resistance) and Behavioural strategies outlined in risk management and support plans. Young people receive a consistent approach from staff who are confident in using proactive, co-regulation, low arousal approaches and other strategies that are personalised to the individual. Staff have the knowledge and understanding required to meet the needs of the young people being supported.
• Attendance at MDT meetings:
Outcome: Behavioural support/advice is to the wider network of support.
