Hello, thank you for taking the time to read about me. I'm an integrative Counsellor, who is a member of both the BACP and an accredited registered member of the National Counselling Society. If you would prefer to have an initial conversation on the phone, I am happy to do this as it may help you decide whether you will feel comfortable working with me. One of the most important aspects of counselling is the relationship between you and your Counsellor - if you don't feel connected you may not feel safe enough to share what is happening for you.

I don't work with any agenda, I work with what you, the client, wishes to bring each week. You may have something specific you wish to work through, or just have the need to have a safe haven, that is just yours that you can talk about whatever you need to talk about. I hope to be able to offer that opportunity to walk by your side and facilitate any changes that you may wish to make.

I work in private practice from my home just south of Salisbury and slightly North of the New Forest. I also volunteered for 3 years at Portsmouth Abuse and Counselling Service, where |I worked with adult survivors of sexual abuse and domestic abuse. I worked at Eastleigh College for 6 years working with young people aged 16+ and I also run a community service in Andover working with young people aged 11-18. I work with adults with differing presenting issues and with couples.

I offer a humanistic approach to counselling, with the client always being at the centre of my work. I would like to offer you the opportunity to be in a non-judgemental and trusting relationship where you can talk openly and honestly about whatever is troubling you. Together we can work together to make the changes that you would like to change.

The past impacts everything we do and who we have become, but it doesn't mean that you cannot change the future and how you live in that future. I would feel very privileged to be given the opportunity to help you explore who you are and how you feel.
