In being a Psychotherapeutic counsellor I uphold an integrative approach to counselling, which in its essence is the importance of the co-creation of an in-depth therapeutic relationship. It also involves bringing together different elements of specific therapies. I feel that there is no single model of therapy that can treat each client in all situations. This approach resonates with me as I understand the value of tailoring the therapy to my client not the client to the therapy aiming to promote healing and facilitate wholeness. I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic counsellor working in private practice. My space is safe and quiet. I prefer to work face to face and my areas of interest are, bereavement/loss, trauma, addiction, anxiety and trauma. I draw on Person centred, Psychodynamic and behaviour models.

  I have worked with individuals with varied needs and have experience of long and short term counselling. I am committed to my personal development as a Counsellor, so therefore attend regular workshops and training courses.
