I am a hardworking, caring and conscientious counsellor, with over 10 years experience and able to work from various locations in Leicestershire and Melton Mowbray Areas. Accredited with The National Counselling Society and have many hours of further training in different areas of counselling/psychotherapy e.g. Trauma and Abuse. I offer therapy to young people, individuals and couples using a Person Centred/Creative approach. Both the client and I work together to form a mutually respectful, trusting and confidential relationship where the client’s difficulties, experiences in life, together with their thoughts and feelings, can be explored. I work in a relational way offering every client therapy that is suited to their own pace and particular style of working, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, faith/belief or disability. My client work includes long term and short term therapy. The areas of work I deal with are varied and I have experience with more complex issues such as Personality Disorders/styles/traits, Dissociation, and DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). I also have experience of working with clients that have been referred to help with trauma e.g Accidents at work/Road Traffic accidents and can offer the service of Report Writing if required. Please feel free to contact me by email initially and I will then call you to see if I am able to help you or if you would like more information on my work/training.
