Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a fully qualified counsellor (and busy mum of two) practicing from my private therapy room in Bookam, Surrey. My therapy room is seperate from our main house and is a lovely, private space. On colder days my log burner keeps it cosy and in the summer doors can be opened onto the garden.
I always hope to make all my clients feel welcome, valued and supported. I work one to one with adults and young people as well as providing counselling services to couples. People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons; because they feel anxious, depressed, hopeless, trapped by patterns of behaviours or ways of thinking or just need to make an important decision and want to talk it through. Whatever your reason, I believe my style of supportive and solution focussed therapy can really help make a positive difference to your life.
My special interests lie in exploring the nature of happiness and especially the significance of finding meaning and purpose in life. I practice yoga and mindfulness daily as part of my own self-care.
