I am an experience and highly qualified MBACP counsellor, having practised for 14 years. Worked for NHS in the IAPT service, RELATE, the well known national counselling organisation as a couples/individual therapist, children and young person's counsellor and family therapist. In 2017 trained as a supervisor.
As an experience and professional therapist, working for charities and in the private sector, my career stems from working with clients, from five years to seventy years old, in various settings.
In my private practice, working on a short or long term basis, helping people to explore and understand their current difficulties, assisting them in finding a more helpful way forward. I use an integrative approach, individually tailoring the work to meet the client's specific needs. this means that I have training in a range of different approaches, which form my working 'tool kit'. I will help you to find the right way forward. in particular, I use Psychodynamic, System and Person Centred approach in my practice with some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, coaching and Mindfulness techniques.
