WORKING WITH YOU, TO FIND A WAY FORWARD.... I am a Registered Counsellor and Senior Accredited Counsellor, with over 20 years of experience, offering you a service tailored to your needs and requirements. I work with Adult individuals on both a long and short term basis.

In addition to self referrals, I also work with referrals from: Human Resource (HR) Departments for Private Organisations, Occupational Health Providers, Other Counselling Organisations

My original Counsellor Training was in the Humanistic Approach. This means that I see you as a unique individual capable of making choices, asking for what you need and able to take responsibility for your own actions. Once qualified I developed an interest in working with the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach to Counselling (thought and behavioural patterns) and feel that the way I work as a Counsellor complements both theories and approaches.

I love working as a Counsellor because I have a desire to make a difference in the life of others. I have had many occasions in Counselling Practice where I have seen "light bulbs go on" and witnessed my client telling me that their life has changed as a result of new insight. This is a joy for me to be a part of. Seeing another grow, through recognition that they can and realising that they can do this through their own abilities, is essentially why I work as a Counsellor. When I embark on a Counselling relationship all I ever ask of myself is that I give my best to you, using the best techniques and theory, I am aware of to help and educate you. If you like, give you the tools to work with. The rest is up to you, you work within the process and take what you need from it.

My Counselling Session availability is: Monday & Tuesday from 4.30pm and Wednesday & Thursday from 5pm
