The National Counselling Society (NCS) has an Accredited Register that lists qualified Counsellors all over the UK!
The National Counselling Society’s Accredited Register is like an online counselling directory in the UK where you can search for a counsellor that can provide the best help for you.
The register is simple, easy to use and enables you to find a fully qualified counsellor who can offer therapeutic support to suit your needs.
Searches can be done by location or name, and you can also check whether someone is on The National Counselling Societies accredited register. Counsellors on the National Counselling Society’s register are known as Registrants.
There are many advantages to accessing services of qualified counsellors who are listed on our Accredited Register. Choosing someone from this ‘online counselling directory’ means that you are doing so with enhanced protection as you have the assurance they have met the high standards required to be listed! The National Counselling Society’s standards include: committing and abiding to our codes of conduct, competence and ethical frameworks and meeting entry level education requirements.
You can learn more about The National Counselling Societies Code of Ethics here: https://www.nationalcounsellingsociety.org/about-us/code-of-ethics/.
The National Counselling Society also set requirements for Registrants’ personal behaviour, technical competence and, where relevant, business practice.
