This interactive, experiential learning course provides an understanding of how our emotions impact on our daily lives and relationships. It gives practical support to help us to develop self – confidence, understand our needs and improve the quality of our relationships. This understanding enables us better to manage our lives effectively.
Day One
We look at ourselves and discuss what gives self-confidence and what takes it away. We then look at fear and how we handle our fears – particularly why we may find it so difficult to say no. The day finishes with a timeline activity where we begin to explore our past experiences and the feelings associated with these.
Day Two
We begin by exploring relationships - what makes a good relationship and what might get in the way of this. We look at how we mange conflict. We then explore anger and our own relationship with this emotion. The afternoon session looks at stress and how this affects us in mind, body and spirit. The day ends with discussing the need for balance in our lives and everyone is encouraged to look at their own life balance.
