CPD Event to be held in Bristol on Friday 6 October 2017

This is an introductory workshop on working with clients with Autism Spectrum conditions and will include signs, symptoms and strategies.

Aim of the CPD:

To gain a basic understanding of Autism:signs and diagnosis

To understand how Autism traits may present themselves within the client-therapist relationship

To offer strategies and tools for working with clients

Led by Corrina and Nick Wood; Corrina, is a qualified tutor and has over 10 years' experience of writing and delivering specialist parenting programmes including for parents of children with Autism. Nick is a MBACP Accredited Counsellor and was one of the first counsellors to be on the National Autistic Society's recommended Counsellors. Nick currently manages a Local Authority Counselling Service. Nick and Corrina have 3 children with Autism Spectrum Conditions so have first hand experience.

Fees: £80 per person/ £50 for volunteer Counsellors and students
